I've spent the last couple of days going through my archive from this last year - here are some images I rediscovered from 2007...

I like my bed...

Home. For two weeks and then back off again to China for another month, at least. It's a busy schedule, but by the end of the next trip we'll have finished shooting all six of the episodes of this first season.

For some reason the Chinese internet over the last couple of weeks hasn't been allowing me access to this blog...so now that I'm home I can update it a bit. I'll write more later, but in the mean time I'll post some photos from the last couple of weeks.

Also-- I'm pretty excited because a picture of mine won a second place in the World Press contest I wrote about a few weeks back!

Something's fishy...

We had our first full day off today, so spent a bit of time wandering around Kunming-- beautiful fall-ish weather here-- large scale improvement on the subzero temps of Inner Mongolia.

Tomorrow we fly out of here and more or less drop off the map for the next several days in the mountains of Yunnan province.

Hmm...

I've recovered from the flu, but now I'm fighting a severe case of narcissism. Here are some self-portraits from this afternoon in Kunming.
