Ouch, that's rough man. I'm a former USAF navigator and the couple times I caught myself getting queasy I would close my eyes and count backwards to 10...a lot of it's mental.
@ Nick: Yeah- I did everything I could- gum, going to my happy place etc. etc. No dice!
It's hard work to get those amazing shots, and some times the photographer has to suffer... Glad you didn't throw up in you camera bag, could have been nasty.
