Very few places are as visually rich as northern Uganda. It's the perfect place to dig in and cut your teeth on a powerful story with the ability to effect change. Hi Jeff, I am very interested in your being as a foreigner, how did the local people, most importantly, the subjects in your photos felt when you photographed them.
@Solly - Everyone that I worked with out there was incredibly receptive to being photographed. I partnered with a local teacher as my fixer, and that really helped with gaining access to situations that otherwise could have been a little tricky.
